Program Description：

 

The English offers courses in linguistics and applied linguistics, pedagogy, and psychology, in which students can master the systematic knowledge of and have a good command basic skills of using English, including listening, reading, writing, speaking, and translating. 

 

Students majoring in translation are required to be aware of the history and culture of China and the major English speaking countries, and the Chinese and western cultural difference, and can be engaged in intercultural communication activities. Students majoring in English education are required to learn pedagogy, psychology, and be able to use modern teaching facilities in their teaching.
