Physical Education

The School of Physical Education endeavors to equip students with basic theory, knowledge and skills of golf, cultivating them as highly qualified talents who are able to engage in teaching and training as well as the design, construction and maintenance of golf courses. Students are also trained in other auxiliary services including club management, event organization and marketing planning.

The School has a 48-bay driving range, a natural-grass driving range, the largest practice green in China and a nine-hole teaching golf course, along with three tennis courts, a stadium and eleven off-campus practice bases.

Practice and training lessons account for more than 45% of the total teaching hours, and multimedia teaching is applied in more than 90% of courses. Occasionally, notable masters are invited from the United States, Taiwan and New Zealand to give lectures.

The School offers a number of specialized majors, excellent provincial courses, teaching and practice bases, provincial research sections, and provincial awards for teaching achievements as well as other quality projects above the provincial level.

Its graduates are employed at more than 500 golf clubs throughout the country, where more than 100 have taken up executive positions. The employment rate of the graduates has reached 98%.
